The Split Mount Carrier securely holds and adapts a Split Pellet Carrier to a wide mouth mason jar.
The Split Mount Carrier when joined together screws securely on to a wide mouth mason jar for the purpose of securing a Split Pellet Carrier which would be holding a growing pellet with a plant.
With the Split Pellet Carrier in place and when placed in the proper Light Sleeve the blockage of light is very complete. This inhibits the growth of algae in the nutrients.
It has ports for easy filling of nutrients that are angled to block light.
The port can also be used to connect to a remote nutrient reserve that can maintain the nutrient level in the mason jar.
For propagating and transplanting both the Split Mount Carrier and the Split Pellet Carrier can be split in unison to cleanly release the plant and pellet without harm to the plants roots.
There are multiple mounting points that allow plants supports or trellises for larger plants. This is hard to do in a typical Kratky mason jar setup.
